Delete your Bubbles account and data

Bubbles (developer: Bubbles Chat) lets you delete your account and the data linked to it at any time. There are two ways to do it.

Option 1 — In the app (fastest)

  1. Open Bubbles.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Delete Account & Data and confirm.

Deletion happens immediately: your account is removed and you are signed out on that device.

Option 2 — By email

If you no longer have the app installed, email support@bubbles-chat.com with the subject “Delete my Bubbles account”. Tell us roughly when you last used the app and on which device, and the email address you signed in with if you linked one, so we can find the right account. We complete email requests within 30 days and confirm by reply.

What gets deleted

  • Your Bubbles account and anonymous user ID
  • Your profile settings and preferences (interests, theme, notification settings)
  • Images you shared in chats, stored under your account
  • Your image-credit balance and Bubbles+ status on our servers
  • Push-notification tokens for your devices

One-to-one chat messages are not stored after a chat ends, so there is nothing further to delete for them. Messages you posted in public topic rooms are kept for up to 30 days and are then removed automatically; they are shown under a random handle and are not linked to your identity.

What we keep, and for how long

  • Safety records — reports, blocks and bans involving your account are kept for up to 12 months so banned users cannot simply re-register to harass others, and to meet legal obligations.
  • Purchase records — transaction records (product, amount, date, store order ID) are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires (typically up to 7 years), with your account ID replaced by an anonymous code. They do not include chat content.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a Bubbles+ subscription billed by Google Play or the App Store. Cancel it first in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions, or iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
